Soldiers of Mercy

Soldiers of Mercy Magazine was founded in 1994 by The Environmental Emergency Response System - TEERS in honour rescuers worldwide, who have dedicated their lives to helping others and in loving memory of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice: their lives.

We are looking for regular contributors and writers. Here are some suggestions of what we look for in our articles:

  • BIOGRAPHIES - Team or individual bio's
  • ETHICS
  • TRAINING - New Techniques
  • WORKS FOR US - One example is a group of crazy Canadians (some are members of TEERS-Canada Team) who took a jet engine to an oil field fire and blew out the fire. They simply dumped fire retardant into the outlet side.
  • HUMOUR - Reader's submissions as long as it's not too sick.. Text and images.
  • INTERNATIONAL RESCUE SCENE
    • TEAMS - BIO's, Training, Special areas of expertise, etc . plus - How about a little friendly competition. Globally speaking of course.
    • CONFERENCES and COURSES
  • MEMORIALS - For those who have paid the ultimate price, to those who dedicated years to SAR and may or may not have passed on from age, illness, etc.
  • OOPSs & SNAFUs - So we may all learn how to avoid and deal with them in the future.
